now they are all claiming that teh number is fixed.. like some career bureaucrats in the labor dept are going to risk their jobs to fix a number just to benefit one side or the other. especially when there is no benefit to them.

with business leaders being told to hold off hiring until after the election. When they saw Romney's terrible convention and his poll numbers go south, they decided it wasn't worth waiting for.

If there was to be any fixin', wouldn't it have made more sense to 'fix' the numbers before the debate and shut down one of Romney favorite talking points?
