The Presidential race just ended: Unemployment drops to 7.8%- by New Deal democrat
You may stop wringing your hands about the debate Wednesday night. The BLS just reported that in September the unemployment rate dropped to 7.8%. 114,000 jobs were added. President Obama was just re-elected.

(46 posts)Do you guys not remember that a revision of 480k jobs was made a couple of weeks ago and now both July and August have also been revised up. How much more jobs do you want before it starts ticking down. Are Democrats going to start complaining about conspiracies now too?

(36,063 posts)I think we can reasonably expect them to say the drop is a politicized over-estimate, and corrections of the number, which almost always happen, will be called evidence of administration manipulation.

7.8 %. The trend is what folks look at. THIS IS GREAT NEWS for the country. Wooo~*~Hooo*~*
If only the repukicans in Congress would have helped the recovery would have been faster. Hope the voters get that or better than get it, feel it!
