I watched IMHO a fine example of lazy journalism on the presidential campaign.

(17,651 posts)He's on CBS This Morning.
I'm going to go ahead and post my original response because perhaps Rose was a guest on GMA. Didn't see it but did see This Week.

I tuned in just in time to see Howard Dean blasting, I mean BLASTING Romney and the m$m this a.m.
Listening to Howard put them all in their places was righteous! I'd have to see the clip again but I do believe he left them charred beyond recognition.
Sorry you were referring to GMA and I was thinking of CBS This Morning - apologies. Was hoping he was making the rounds.

(12,606 posts)He said that he doesn't believe that rMoney was lying during the debate.
I mean WTF!!!

(17,651 posts)Liar is just 4 little letters, what Dean did was spell it all out.
I posted a link on here. Look at it again, it's not as bad as you think - it's even better!

(12,606 posts)"I don't believe rMoney lied" and then go on to say that "I believe that rmoney will say whatever he needs to say and there's no core belief there." That's lying!
Just come out and say it. rMoney lies through his teeth. Dean isn't running for anything. If team rMoney wants to attack him for telling the truth then it will place more attention of the fact that rMoney is lying.
Dean and all the other Democrats acting as proxies for President Obama have to stop being nice.
I do like that he stood up to spokesmodel O'Donnel.
I'm not sure why he didn't ask Charlie Rose at the end of the segment "What do you call somebody that says one thing for months then the opposite when he wants to confuse the viewing public? Wouldn't you call that person a liar?"
I have lost a lot of respect for Charlie Rose. He is now playing the part of the stenographer pool to keep the illusion of a horse race for his paymasters.

(17,651 posts)It really gets to the point where people tune it out. You lie. He lies. They lie lie lie lie lie. The word kindof loses its meaning after while, ESPECIALLY when you're dealing with a pathologically lying campaign such as the one Romney & Friends is running.
There was another DU post asking why the word LIAR isn't used as often as they thought it should and why politicians don't say the word more often....there were some responses that made alot of sense.
I understand you though - it's all very frustrating; the media, politicians, voters who refuse to see a different between candidates.
Hang in there!
