Obama doesn't have the luxury of having a single debate
be the focus of his attention. The President has the weight of the world on
his shoulders. He's privy to and responsible for a range of global issues and
potential disasters we can only imagine. Willard has prepared for these debates
for months. He has planned to reset the etch a sketch and last night was the
best he could produce for those months, actually years of prep. Personally
I'm underwhelmed.
When I think of the unrest in the world, hundreds of thousands of people from
the ME to Europe rioting in the streets. The global economic abyss we face
along with extreme climate events, I want Obama at the helm.
Last night was suppose to be a debate about domestic policy. Immigration,
civil rights for the LGBT community,other issues that are important to Americans
were never addressed. Last night was a contest for the best candidate to slip on
some lipstick and be the best pitbull. The best candidate to lie about their record
and position on the issues and frankly I don't think Obama had the stomach for
it.
