I just have to throw this out there about small business...

Do I love small business? Hell yes I do. My dad was a farmer for most of his life, as well as my grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather... you get the picture. And they had a small business with employees that they treated well.

But now I work for small business. And my father, and his ancestors would never have treated me like my employers. I get paid well under what I am worth. But it is a job. Yes job creation from small business works, but to what gain? My employers take their tax breaks and don't pay us any more with it than they would if they didn't have tax breaks. And they voted for Romney, already did it, so they could take vacations which I will never have the luxury of doing while I work for them. I don't have healthcare, I work 50 hours a week, and I am still the subject of question because of my political leanings.

The problem is that my employers get tax breaks personally. They can take as much money as they want, and use tax breaks personally to "fix their problem". It has nothing to do with small business tax breaks. It has everything to do with personal tax breaks. Why would you invest yout money in a company that has higher taxes than you do? You won't. That, to me, is the problem.

I wish the president would ask his highness, the next time he talks about lowering taxes and creating "good paying jobs" Oh so Gov. you want to increase the minimum wage?"

I would like to point out that I work for a private school, so they get most of their money from financial aid. I believe that until we can reform our education system, this will continue. Second college I have worked for that is ran independently and abuses the system until they get caught. Their soul income is from financial aid, and they take it in because they can. And let me tell you, I believe in education. I took this job because I lost my last one for one, being gay, and two, for having morals. I'm done with the whole business, but I have to because I have to make money for our family. Looking for a new job. I have a master's degree in management and an undergraduate in advertising and pr, anyone interested?
