Advice for the Obama fundraising people:

I get at least one email a day asking for $. When I respond with a donation, inevitably I get another email, often the same day, asking me for more $. I now have given all I can give. Today I received an email from Michelle about their 20th Anniversary...asking for $. I wish, just once and a while they would send an email simply saying "Thank You". Sometimes the troops just need a little pat on the back, that's all.

If it bothers you enough to make an issue of it here, it apparently causes you undue stress. Tarheel_Dem Oct 2012 #10

And what I didn't like was, they said they had my contribution info, but for some reason I had to give that again. That was the whole idea of how fast it was, but it failed.

Most of us receive the exact same emails that you do, and haven't felt the need to start a thread about it. You're certainly free to do so, but I just thought "UNSUBSCRIBE" would be a less painful option for you. No biggie.

Pounds and pounds of campaign donation solicitations in my mailbox every week. The good news is that my postwoman is still delivering. Few are opened. When I can, I contribute, that's all.
