It can be a real issue for buyers/sellers.
My place is reputed to be haunted, as well as some others in town.

and had put our house up on the market about 15 years ago. Almost every person who looked at it mentioned that fact to the realtor! It's a beautifully maintained, tiny, Jewish cemetery with a large green space facing our house. I couldn't believe it. We took our sign down and stayed. Now the houses around us sell like hotcakes, but we're not budging. (Our pet ghost is "Rozman" but he stays outside).

they like cats too!
