Just received a call on my landline from a lady with a one question poll.
She said she was from the Conservative Action something and she asked:
(paraphrase) Under the current administration, the economy in is the crapper, unemployment is sky high, and consecrative values have been cast aside...Do you think the current administration is doing a good job for the things you care about?
I laughed, and told her that was a push poll.
So I guess some positive polling results for the Romney campaign are right around the corner!
Anyone else had a similar experience?

(13,865 posts)guess it was the NRA. First question was, "If guns were made illegal, do you believe that criminals and members of drug gangs would voluntarily turn in their guns?" I laughed and said that I was sure they would, because I am a very optimistic type of guy, and then hung up.

Why let them know you know what they're doing? Just tell them something that'll make them sick.

(11,637 posts)Questioner: "Given that his Democratic opponent has been accused of child pornography and torturing kittens, would you say you are a. very likely to vote for Candidate X, b. somewhat likely to vote for Candidate X or c. undecided?
Me; " I think X is a hypocrite and a crook"
Questioner: "Is that a. very likely, b. somewhat likely, ..."
Me: What part of hypocrite and crook do you not understand?
Questioner: "Is that a. very likely, ..."
Me: I think he is an asshole, as well.
and so it goes until I start yelling at them about how biased their poll is and just hang up.
Or, I say, could you hang on for a minute, I have something on the stove, then just walk away and wait for the phone to make that off the hook noise, then hang it up.
