On the radio at work yesterday I heard a story about him pimping Robme.

Say it ain't so, Jack!

3. Not surprising.....

He spent his entire career,Hell his whole LIFE,at country clubs, which are, after all, where the top shelf golf courses are.The only people he would've been exposed to,of any real moral substance, would be the caddys, wait staff, locker room attendants, groundskeepers and the like....You know....Insignificant peons...THOSE people....

4. You can't find a PGA Tour player

anywhere that votes Democrat. It's so rare that years ago when Tom Watson was a young whippersnapper on the tour, Golf Digest did a story on the fact that he was the only tour player registered Democrat at the time. He later said he switched to Pub.

Fred Funk was quoted as saying a few years ago that "He hates Democrats." That's why I pull against that turtle-faced POS.

8. Greg Norman is a Democrat

Clinton stayed at his estate back in the day, famously fell in Norman's driveway and hurt his knee.

He was friends with Bill Clinton in the 90's and he did stay at his palatial waterfront estate. Oh, well.

Is there proof of that somewhere? Maybe I just don't want to believe it, but that one has to be proven.

14. He spoke at a Romney event yesterday and claimed it was non partisan.

Google it. As for me I sent an email and will never watch him again. I am also sending a letter to Ford they need to pull his ads.

15. I saw the appearance live and many reairings

I just wondered if there was actual proof. I googled him yesterday as well, and found no actual proof, only speculation. If someone's got links, I hope they post them.

I just have a hard time believing a man who is so supportive of blue collar workers could be a Repub, but if there's proof/a link, then he is, but otherwise, it's speculation.

19. For me standing on a stage with Romney slimes a stench that cannot be washed off.

Then he has the gall not to trash his ratings by claiming a non partisan appearance. Poor judgement and utter stupidity from someone who makes his living off of working people.

22. Well, I hear you

but people who have a cause or organization will sometimes do things like this appearance to get support or awareness of their cause. He may very well be a Republican, but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Bono, for example, though Liberal I'm sure, met with shrub to get financial help for his humanitarian causes.

28. Sounds like Obama has not called him

He was on our local morning show a couple days ago. He said he sent a long letter to Romney and Obama about the need to focus on trades and not just college, college, college. He said that, to date, only Romney called him and so he met with him. He said he would love for a similar call from Obama's camp.

Until I see something more, I will take him at his word.

6. I would 99% of all American golfers are-$$$$ normally backs the republicans

Golf is a republican game and most players (especially in the pre-1970 days) played on white only tourney's and white only country clubs without saying a word of defiance.

After all, it takes a millionaire to be able to afford the normally white only country clubs in the nation and go to a golf tournament and you are charged high admission fees, and hot dogs costing ten bucks (let alone greens fees.)

And someone like Jack designs courses for billionaires, so one expects he and Herr Mittens would be the type to be friends.

Most atheltes that are white over the years were republicans(scumbags like small town born, racist types ala Mickey Mantle for instance).

Tiger is only universally loved by other golfers because he single handedly raised the prize funds so that a person in 50th place makes a million dollars. It's not that they love him for being black(but in spite of it, and who knows what politics Tiger is anyhow.)

Jack still though is the single greatest player of all time.
Without Jack, there wouldn't have been a tour for Tiger Woods to join.

25. I'm a working class person and I love golf.

I got my love for golf from my dad, who is a working class Union Dem. Sure, I play at cheap 9-hole courses, but it's still golf.

Golf is still a more upper class sport, but it is making strong inroads among working class folks. Tiger Woods has a lot to do with that, I think.

33. Sam Snead? Ben Hogan? Oldies but goodies.

And how come we don'l tag Tiger "half-Asian" and our President "half-Caucasian?" As the earth's population becomes increasingly multi-ethnic, such terms will (I hope!) be seen as very prejudiced.
We're one species after all. Except for rabid Repukes...who are not yet classified as homo sapient.

or in another way, "white male privilege" runs about as deep there as it does in the old english fox hunting grounds.

but don't hang around golfers away from the course. Can't really stand to be in their company with all their conservative talking points. It amazes me that so many of these guys are successful businessmen but so gullible when it comes to the effects of hate radio, Faux News, et al.

That is some lame ass philosophy being exposed here. Sickening actually.

I went to school with his son. He was a stuck up little pissant that made fun of the kids who were poor and or different. I am a high functioning autistic so I was a regular target!

Doesn't surprise me in the least that his father is for the I am entitled to be president candidate!

30. Yes Jack is a republican but I know people who know him or have met him .....

.... and to a person they say he is a good guy. Surprise! You grow up as the
son of business owner in Upper Arlington, OH and spend your life around rich
country club people, the ultra rich, and you yourself are in the top 1% in income
of all people in America the odds are you are a republican.

BTW over his life I would guess Jack has given or been associated w/ at
least $100,000,000 worth of charity work.

and being a rocket scientist is not a prerequisite for the job. I'm amazed you can find a few that aren't Republicans.
