She said the tape "was taken out of context and the media spun it."
She kept blubbering and then got pissed when Al confronted her and said "What do you want from me?"

(21,925 posts)She insisted that Romney's 47% statement was taken out of context. When the Rev asked her for the third time what the right content should have been, she snapped at him. He should have answered: "I'd like a little honesty".

(377 posts)What makes these people think it's OK for them to be "pissy" and disrespectful? Which she SO was! Even in the way she said "It's the economy, stupid" I know that's a common phrase but the way she read it was personal. What a b...!

(42,770 posts)saved it....Ok, he was answering a question about who to focus campaigning on. In that respect, he is right. BUT, he just had to throw in the part about them being victims and not caring about responsibility. He mixed two subjects - it's his fault and his fault alone. Thank god he has been truly exposed for the uncharitable person he really is.

(3,818 posts)angry and uncomfortable looking lately. I guess she knows her side is losing and is not happy about representing them. That said, her rudeness to Rev. Al was unprofessional and uncalled for.

(50,269 posts)deer in the headlights time. The Rev asked her what Romney's message is seeing as he's change it so many times and she said, "It's the economy, stupid". Now I know she was not calling the Rev stupid but at first blush it sounded that way, not a good soundbite the way it was phrased.
She is definitely not ready for primetime just like her candidates.

(115,669 posts)of some well-known political figure somehow qualifies said spawn to be a "pundit" on national television. Megan McCain has no special expertise that she can bring to any political discussion, and she just showed her pitiful lack of same once again by expounding in that irritating, vocal-fried valley-girl voice of hers that Mittens' comments were taken out of context. Megan, honey, get a clue: the "context" was evident; the remarks needed no interpretation. Nobody had to spin anything. The only spinning is yours, and it's making you dizzy.

(1,788 posts)but watching her on Rev Al, boy, she's trying to sell something that she doesn't even believe. She answered a question from Rev Al with "it's the economy stupid," and Rev Al didn't take to kindly to that. It was the way she stressed stupid...I started laughing when he called her out on it....
