so is Florida medical examiner Michael Berkland in custody?

Has he been charged with a crime regarding the body parts recently found in his storage locker?

Anyone know the status of this investigation?

Michael Berkland's medical license was revoked by Missouri in 1998. He was removed from his job as Medical Examiner in Florida in 1999.
