Considering the extreme views that fundy churches have on the rights of women you have to wonder what is next. The Voter Values summit was admonishing women to dress modestly and NOT tempt men. I used to hear a lot of the same garbage when I was being raised Catholic. And it seems like the fundamentalist movement is trying to push women backward 100 years.

I hear so much back chatter about women not knowing enough to even vote. Many of the churches are telling women that they must follow the vote of their husband.

So I am surprised at how many things that I am hearing about the status of women that I thought was decided. The push now is that women should go back to the kitchen.

So my post is partly being facetious.
