20yr average for RMoney's taxes? did the media say anything about the changing tax law over 20 yrs?!

Have any of the supposedly nonpartisan media sources commented on the fact that an average that combines tax returns from the Bush tax cuts era with tax returns from the higher Clinton era in a single figure would tend to boost the total average -- making it look like RMoney has been paying higher taxes in the past 10 years than he has?

Or that combining tax returns over 20 years would also give a false sense of what his average tax rate has been over the past 10 years because it combines taxes from when he was receiving wages (prior to 2000) with taxes from when he was just earning investment income and other non-wage income (forms of income that are taxed at much lower rates than wage income)?

Have the mainstream media pointed this out?
