As Mr. Burns said about all his money, "I'd give it all away, if I could only have a little bit more."

That is the gist of what the wrong track number is saying, that things are moving in the wrong direction, ever rightward, under both dems and repubs and is destroying the country and planet.

Until and unless the dems start moving back towards the real center, back in the progressive direction, the monied interests will feel their money is well spent.

Don't kid yourselves, Obama has not ditched the Chicago econ school and is still leading the country in the wrong direction in this dimension, even as he grudgingly acts under pressure on social issues such as gay Rights.

one that partisans (on both sides to be fair), are having a hell of a time comprehending.

We have seen this process before,.

This is the BEST case at this point

RNC goes away, and a new party is formed TO THE LEFT of the Dems, why to the left? The Dems are poised to take over, as they once were, the business friendly mantle.

Your post pretty much nails it.

The wacko right-wing corporatist ideas are half of the acceptable discussion, and the other half is the more moderate corporatism favored by our party. Nowhere are the real solutions to our problems being discussed, nowhere that matters anyway.

instead of going out there to press the flesh and rally his base, maybe it's because his money tree is drying up. Every appearance he has now is canned interviews.

while waiting for the march

with a labor leader.

How pretty much the election is pretty much over, BUT GO VOTE. We were talking on how the media (i was posing as such) is talking this way partly to help suppress the vote.

We talked of a lot of things, including why media does not really cover labor in a friendly way... and hell, I should have marched with them, but knee was a tad wobbly so my running along and getting my exercise was reduced to a few blocks.

He's only going around trying to raise money now. His other "appearances" are canned interviews or Ann doing his work for him.

I've painfully aware at all times that elections have been stolen in this country. And for him to win it will have to be stolen.

they are having to reach in their wallets to help SUPPORT America. Their plan to strip us of our jobs and our homes backfired. Now they want us to return back to work. You know how the saying goes...what's good for the goose, is good for the gander. Karma sucks sometimes.

And rMoney doesn't know a denomination below $100 bills. He'll take the change, but have one of his illegal immigrant servants deal with depositing it in the Cayman Island accounts.
