Ann Romney's concern ought to be our concern.

She actually said this:
“We call the rope line now the advice line,” she said, laughing, explaining that “everyone cares and everyone wants to help and everyone wants to just give their piece—a little piece of advice—so I feel like my best advice is just to bring peace and calm to him and just trust in him and just say, ‘I know you can do it,’ but not to give him any advice because it gets too overwhelming.”
If poor Mitt finds getting advice on the rope line overwhelming, God help him and the world if he were ever elected to any position of responsibility.

1. "If poor Mitt finds getting advice on the rope line overwhelming"

I think you vastly underestimate Ann's ability to "overwhelm".

2. Could be

but it seems that the person who knows him best in the world thinks that he is such a delicate hot house plant that he is overwhelmed by listening to people. My bet is that she is right.

3. it's not that he's overwhelmed by listening to people

it's that he's thinks he's the farking king and doesn't have to listen to anyone.

it twists his ass to no end.

4. See, this is another piece of info how f*cked up the Rmoney's are.

That line is a place to connect with people...to hear their concerns...their needs...their hopes...
their fears...and what does she say?

Oh, they should all just STFU and trust her hubby.

Good grief.

6. If you are fucking it up, people give you advice...

If you are doing it right, people ask you for advice.

Mrs. Romney, you and your husband are fucking it up.

10. I'd like to preface this by saying this is absolute conjecture, but:

"I feel like my best advice is just to bring peace and calm to him and just trust in him and just say, ‘I know you can do it,’ but not to give him any advice because it gets too overwhelming.”

This sounds like a woman who knows better than to "overwhelm" her husband. You know, the guy who gets to go through the buffet line before the grandkids because he can't stand to wait. The guy who cheats at Family Olympics because he can't stand to lose. The guy who threw a tantrum when he didn't like Univision's introduction of him.

I don't believe he's fit to be president, and the family and campaign are hiding his character from the people.

12. I have long thought Mitt has an anger management problem.

He is not used to being thwarted and his reactions can be ugly. The President has needled him several times and got under his very thin skin. I would imagine Mitt's handlers are very concerned with not only the substantive aspects of the debates but the optics as well. If not, they should be.

14. It is kind of oxymoranic, isn't it?

I am eschewing a cheap joke using half of the word.
