(11,911 posts)What exactly does "trending on twitter" mean? Does it just mean that subject is getting a lot of hits and is popular right now. Even when I was using twitter the other day in at a webinar, I didn't think I was using it right because I didn't seem to be seeing the same tweets as was being projected on the speaker's screen.
Must learn more about it.....

(85,986 posts)I think you have to be 'following' folks who are apt to tweet about the subject you're pursuing info about to have their tweets come up. You can pull up AARP's tweet address and 'follow' them to have a satellite on your page for other tweets. I'm sure someone else can explain this better, tho, since I'm fairly new to twitter, myself.
