How F**king Dare You.

How F**king Dare You.

by weatherdude

Hey Mitt, put your foot in your mouth long enough for me to say something. When the news broke today that you said, and I quote...

“My job is not to worry about those people,” Mitt Romney said of the 47 percent of Americans who are likely to vote for Barack Obama. “I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

...I didn't think too much about it. It sounded like another arrogant thing to say to cater to your dumb, dirt-poor Republican voting base that thinks they're better than everyone else around them in the same situation.
But the more I thought about it, the angrier I got.

How fucking dare you say something like that. You didn't work for a thing in your life. You inherited your daddy's legacy and money. You broke the backs of millions of working class Americans so you could get rich quick and stash your money in other countries, because God forbid you do something for the country you so claim to love.

How fucking dare you talk about my grandfather like that. A man who had a wife and nine kids. A man who worked every day of his adult life at a New Jersey factory when he wasn't fighting in World War II. A man who struggled to provide for his kids, but somehow managed to do it. How fucking dare you.

How fucking dare you talk about my mom like that. After my dad left when I was little, I've watched my mom struggle to make ends meet my whole life. I've watched the stress take its toll on her, getting to be too much at times. I remember the excitement on her face when we had a surplus in our family budget at the end of the month, something your sorry ass has never had to worry about. I've watched her almost break into tears when she couldn't afford to pay a bill or could just barely send me to school with a lunch the next day. How fucking dare you.

Mitt Romney, you are an arrogant snob. The hardest thing you've worked for in your life is deciding which factory to shut down and which city in China gets a gift of jobs wrapped in the sweat, blood, and tears of the Americans you fucked over.

You don't deserve your money, let alone to be President. When you lose in November, I'm going to laugh the laugh of a madman. It won't only be because you lost, but you'll feel something very few other Americans beneath your pedestal will ever get to feel -- the abject failure, the weight of the rejection of tens of millions of people you think you're better than. And when you get your rightful place in the history books as the Grinch from Hell who couldn't get elected to the presidency by putting down half the country, I hope you sit there and cry like a newborn baby. I doubt it, but maybe, just maybe, somewhere deep down in your heart, you'll have a Come to Jesus moment with yourself about how much of a miserable human being you've been in your 65 years on this earth.

I hope your God is more forgiving than the electorate that's about to snap your dreams in two. You will never have to worry about anything in your remaining decades of life. Neither will your children, nor your children's children, nor will their children and so on. They will always have the privilege of money, of fake prestige, and the family name you're tarnishing on a daily basis.

Your comments today have made me angrier than ever, and more determined than ever to reelect the best damn president I'll ever see in my lifetime -- Barack HUSSEIN (YES, HUSSEIN) Obama.

May you never truly feel the hell you've put so many through in your past.

How fucking dare you.

Romney is as he stated clearly and completely: he is campaigning, courting the 5 to 10% and not bothering with the 47%.

Hell, if you believe 250,000.00 dollars a year is middle income, you have no clue what the life of a 47% is!

even people like Newt and Reagan and others who dog whistle with their racism and food stamp crap always say something like "i am going to give them............." so they don't have to depend on govt" type crap.

but this must be the first ime you have a candidate campaigning on not caring for other americans.

That's what really counts. There will still be astounding numbers of people who vote for him while still knowing what a mean, smug, arrogant, cold, unfeeling, greedy cheapskate he is, and sincerely don't like and/or have doubts about the guy. But they'll hold their nose for him because they hate Obama more.

Go figure. Doesn't make any sense to me.

What we're looking for is more people coming home - to what is REALLY America's Philosophy: Liberalism. Open, welcoming, sharing, kind, compassionate, room for everyone, a safe haven where we are ALL on a level playing field.

This presents a STERLING opportunity, maybe once in a generation, to rehabilitate and take back the word "Liberal." To reintroduce it now that people can see, more clearly than ever, the true nature of the CONservatives these days. You can see their "hearts" (assuming they have any - and their behavior suggests the answer's NO). We can reshape the perception of it. An EXCELLENT opportunity to compare and contrast - when the Liberal mindset comes out SO ridiculously positive by comparison. For all you minimalist or simplistic thinkers who see the world as being black or white, good or bad and nothing in between, are you comfortable with that rigid world view? Do you really see it that cut 'n' dried? Which is better? This? Or that?

And a few reminders of what liberals have done or enacted or fought for - over the decades - that's improved the lives and livelihoods of millions of Americans. Including stuff they all like and even paint protest signs to support, such as Medicare. That never hurts either.

Literally. She also had to bring up her five boys alone after her husband passed, never got a higher education but got them educated in the military.

Although she is comfortable financially, she is very conscious of having been poor, and concerned about the poor. She asked me if Mitt had been born rich. She said she couldn't stand him.

I'm pretty sure she'll vote for Obama, but I'll ask. She's not a partisan person, but been mad at the GOP since 2010 doing racial profiling. I think the convention really hit home with her and the family, as you said, coming home.

This comment of Romney's made me angry enough to find a little spare cash, though.

Let's bury Mitt and the GOP "CONgress" in a landslide this November!!

The first president I really hated was George Bush. The Iraq war was the main reason.

This guy pisses me off even more. He symbolizes everything I can't stand.

Let's all give him a resounding defeat in November and give Obama Democratic majorities in Congress so we can move forward. I am hoping for an Obama/Democratic landslide!

They'd be paying a larger percentage of taxes collected and the top 10% would be paying a smaller percentage. Of course the people at the top wouldn't stand for that.

My guess is a big chunk of that 47% listen to Rush Limbaugh and watch Fox News -- and they're too stupid to realize Romney was insulting them along with millions of Americans who bust their butts for wages below the income tax line.

I didn't think it was possible for me to have a lower opinion of Willard Mitt Romney after accusing the president of sympathizing with those who attacked our embassy and killed our ambassador. Perhaps we have not yet seen how low Mitt can go.

Tue Sep 18, 2012, 08:16 PM
Sep 2012

I looked it up to more clearly define it's meaning ....

Main Entry: craven ?[krey-vuhn] Show IPA/ˈkreɪvən/ Show Spelled
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: weak, timid
Synonyms: chicken*, cowardly, dastardly, fearful, gutless, lily-livered, mean-spirited, poltroonish, pusillanimous, scared, timorous, weak-kneed, wimpish, wimpy, wussy, yellow*, yellow-bellied

Antonyms: bold, brave, courageous, heroic, strong

That about covers it.
