"Ryan is quite agitated at how his obvious genius is not being utilized to its fullest"

Paul Ryan Will Not Be Saving the Romney Campaign

We have dealt previously with the utter hilarity of the notion that the path to glory for Willard Romney is to unleash the neo-Randian policy genius that is his running mate, Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny-starver from Wisconsin. But there is further evidence to the effect that, given the relative vacancy at the top of the ticket, a quasi-mutiny may be brewing below decks.

One of the abiding weaknesses of the zombie-eyed granny-starver always has been that he completely believes everything that an innumerate elite Beltway press has said about him as a budget wonk. (Up here in Massachusetts, Senator Scott Brown has a similar problem. He really believes all that stuff that got written about how his election was a world-historical event.) This, I believe, is where Joe Biden is going to poke him repeatedly during their debate. Anyway, it's becoming clear now that Ryan is quite agitated at how his obvious genius is not being utilized to its fullest, and he's getting the word out to all the usual suckers....

The core factor in the search for a new message, aides say privately, was the August jobs report. The anemic job growth was widely viewed as bad news for Obama even as the unemployment rate dropped due to people leaving the workforce. But the national shrug confirmed Romney campaign concerns that the most visible economic indicator would remain muddled through Election Day. Ryan himself has emerged as a central player in this calculation, making the case internally for a clearer conservative policy message. One high level Republican with ties to the campaign told BuzzFeed that Ryan was chaffing at Boston constraining him from talking about and defending his policy ideas from Democratic attacks. Ryan wanted to be "unleashed," the Republican said.

First, someone had better make it a little more obvious. So far, I find it to be better hidden than the Lost Ark.

I really, really hope he tries to unleash some of his 'genius' on the Vice President. I trust Biden to put him in his place.

9. I think the Romney campaign is dismayed by these "fact checkers" that won't go away.

And I don't think they expected that Ryan was such a bald-faced liar, even lying about his marathon time. That turned him into a joke.

After all, Santorum has already said that "elite, smart" people won't have anything to do with the republican dumbasses. Does he want to be labeled as some kind of librul plant?
