Oh My God! - Ron Paul Revolution!
I just started a new job with a construction company and just noticed that "Ron Paul Revolution" is stenciled on the back of the company trucks.
Signed, Betwixt in Jersey.

1. ALL of the trucks? Or just one of the trucks? Is it vandalism or is it the express desire of the
|
owner of the business?
If the latter, shut up and drive if you want your paycheck. If the former (vandalism), offer to get out there with a can of paint and cover up the offending scrawl. Be a go-getter. You may get a raise. Who knows? |

4. Ask around. Find out if it's vandalism or a political statement.
|
Then act accordingly to best preserve your pay envelope!

7. It still could be vandalism.
|
When I lived in Iran, during the revolution, it was common for the pasaradan and their supporters to run around with stencils and spray paint. The stencils were either drawings of Khomeini (who looked like the Zig Zag guy) or exhortative phrases written in Farsi that praised the revolution/denigrated the Shah. They liked the stencil and run technique because it was very quick, there was a curfew and there were soldiers all over the city. They were "tagging" before there was a word for it, and they loved it when they could hit a tank with a stencil, which happened on the odd occasion.
It could be some Paul-Bots are prosecuting their own "pasaradan-like" campaign. In any event, nose around, and if the guy who owns the joint is a Paulnut, just tell him you aren't political and take your pay and run. |

5. Well, Ron Paul is a fringe candidate with no chance of winning
|
so I thought of EarlG and found it mildly amusing. At least it's Ron Paul and not Romney. I don't think I'll be driving one in the near future anyway.
I can say unequivocally and without online bragging or boasting that if this was 2004 and it had said "Bush/Cheney revolution" I would have said "no fucking way". I'd sooner have starved than promote those motherfuckers. |

8. Find a magnetic Obama sign to cover it over when you drive
|
Assuming the Paul message doesn't cover a huge area of the vehicle.

9. And in thinking about it......
|
A RP Revolution helps us - hurts the Repubs. His supporters are rabid and/or disenfranchised Repubs so he is not taking away from the Dem vote. I say drive that truck! lol.
But I know that it would make me feel weird too. |

Also try as much as possible to keep away from political discussion because they will try to convert you once they know you are not a libertarian. |
