1. I didn't have a TV when that stuff was on

but a gay friend was a faithful viewer, "My dear, you should see the queens on that show! Dress designers! Florists!"

That always kind of stuck with me as the impression Barris's sleazy TV shows had.

bizarre. Ms. Granholm looked not unlike a taller Sally Struthers (of that era) with that 'do and that's not a bad thing at al. Apparently she couldn't stop laughing after someone tweeted her that link. So she's a good sport to boot.
