Like I said below, traffic is fucked (don't even try the 405,101, 5 or 10) but this isn't going to burn long (much better terrain than the San Gabriels)

Sadly, the one at Griffith Park a few years back was way worse. Then again, I was a lot closer. If it was coming from Sepulveda then it's probably as awful.

It is in the area of "carmageddon", thru the Sepulveda pass. No winds which is great. They will probably be able to put it down pretty fast. 10% humidity though and pretty darn hot. Fire season is here.

We should all meet for a drink someday
but not today probably!! === I posted this previously, it happens monthly Drinking Liberally Westside Export Share Wednesday, September 26, 2012 7:00 PM Trip 2101 Lincoln Blvd, Santa Monica, CA (map) About Drinking Liberally: "An informal, inclusive progressive social group. Raise your spirits while you raise your glass, and share ideas while you share a pitcher. Drinking Liberally gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics. You don't need to be a policy expert and this isn't a book club - just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk politics." www.drinkingliberally.com Drinking Liberally is separate from our group, Los Angeles Progressive Friends, but still a fantastic opportunity to meet more great progressives. DL Westside meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month. No Meetup fee required for this event. |
