FLASHBACK: Freepers discuss Linda Rondstant's "free speech"

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1175142/posts

From News Article:

She also dedicated the song "Desperado" to Mr Moore and urged the audience to go and see "Fahrenheit 9/11," which mercilessly slams Mr Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq and his handling of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

According to local media, members of the 4,500-strong audience stormed out of the concert hall, tore down concert posters and tossed cocktails into the air.

Hotel president Bill Timmins then ordered security guards to escort Ms Ronstadt off the premises.

COMMENTS:

When will they learn to "Shut up and Sing?"

Life can be hard.

Roughly 95% of the personal woe a person endures in life may be traced to self-induced activities. She was just laying a trap for herself, in her "Dixie Chick" moment.
=======
This has been on the local radio shows here for the past 3 days.
Callers who attended said that approx 2000 people walked out throwing drinks, booing, ripping posters, etc.They wouldn't even let her go back to her suite to pick up her belongings.

It was a curb-side ejection!

She also said that Las Vegas is not the place to entertain.

As Dice Clay would say...."PAINFULLY DUMB"
