Who here thinks Ron Paul hides behind his supporters?

The "American values" youtube is just the latest example.

1. I think he's a crazy old man on his Last Hurrah.

Bigoted SOB. He should be ashamed of himself.

5. Yes he should be.

But he's not. Obviously.

2. Why wouldn't he? He spews romantic ideas of being anti-war and pro-drug without *really* making it

clear to those idiots what he means by any of it. Start peeling the onion and you see the horror that would be in a Paulistanian world.

16. They'll crap a brick when granma, Aunt Lucy and Uncle Ricky show up on their doorstep because they

have no social security and need food, clothing and shelter! Yeah, that's paradise! Home is where you go where they HAVE to take you in! That's how it was back in those "good old days" before we had safety nets.

9. He wants to be president of nothing.

He wants to get elected, get rid of all foreign arms of the government and get rid of all domestic arms of the goverment. He would have no job then but to aimlessly wander around the White House making racist and sexist remarks to and about the staff. FREEDOM!! LIBERTY!! CONSTITUTION! STATE'S RIGHTS! NWO!

11. I think he is essentially shilling a world where his holdings in gold

and gold mining make him rich. And I think that is his big driver.

10. So far, they can't come up with any arguments against his

misogynism. "But, he's an OB/GYN!" is all they can sputter. They rant about globalism, but when faced with his Personhood Pledge which would outlaw artificial birth control and this comment about sexual harassment from his book, Freedom Under Siege, "Why don't they quit once the so-called harassment starts?...How can the harassee escape some responsibility for the problem?" In other words, women who don't quit their jobs in a hard economy and stay in an abusive work environment are "asking for it." He'd be clobbered in the general election by women voters if he ever made it that far.

12. I like the 'crazy old man' thing.

How can it be lost on him that at his age, in his utopa; he wouldn't last a week.
And no Ron. Back in the days of the tribel famly; people didn't get as old as you got.

15. The guy scares me and all of his Randian Paulbot followers do too.

Most of the ones I know are only for Paul because he's pro-pot or anti-war. That's all well and good until you look at his economic policies and how he'd destroy Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Civil Rights legislation, basically the entire government.

When I tell them this and the effects the destruction of the federal government would have, they are always stunned.

I want him to win the GOP nomination so he can be exposed and irrelevant for good after November.
