O.M.G. Mitt lost Newsmax!

NEWSMAX CEO: Romney campaign ‘poorly managed,’ message ‘incoherent’

by rdbaker43

Not generally a fan of wingnut campaign analysis, but there is this:

If I could put my finger on it, I would say the Romney campaign has been poorly managed. They haven’t staged their candidate well, and their messaging has been incoherent, to put it nicely.

----Christopher Ruddy, editor and CEO of Newsmax Media Inc.

And also this:

We saw this mismanagement early in the primary. Those in the Romney campaign should have locked up their candidate’s nomination by January. But the campaign team decided they didn’t want to owe the conservative base of the GOP much, so they decided to forego the usual outreach efforts. Instead, they spent tens of millions of dollars in attack ads against fellow Republicans.

And this:

There were so many messages, it was disorienting: “Mitt is a regular guy.” “We’re a diverse party.” “Hi, I’m Chris Christie, and I’m running for re-election.” “Ann humanizes Mitt.” “We’re proud of the Mormon faith.” “The Bush years were not as bad as you thought.” “Bain Capital is not an evil company.” Add to these a bunch of sub-themes that have faded into oblivion.

There is much more like this on the Houston Chronicle's website. (The article was originally published on NEWSMAX and reprinted on Houston Chronicle's website).

Here is the link: http://blog.chron.com/txpotomac/2012/09/conservative-leader-romney-campaign-poorly-managed-message-incoherent/

2:52 PM PT: And this is how the author sums up:

Obama critics have been touting Edward Klein’s new best-selling book about Obama entitled “Amateur.” But it’s looking more and more that Obama is no amateur, while the Romney campaign has more than its fair share of them.

Pandering FAIL, Mitt, pandering FAIL!

Worst. Candidate. Ever.

Hey, Republicans! Mitt -- and the entire posse of conserva-clowns that were pandering to you earlier this year -- are what your party, as a whole, thinks represents them. If they don't represent YOU, then you should really stop calling yourself a Republican. And you should really consider no longer voting Republican either, until such time, if ever, that the GOP comes back from the friggin' edge of sanity towards some modicum of rational discourse.

The attempt will be made to blame the candidate and not the insane RW belief system he is pandering to.

If they admit that the American Public does not want to go along with their
"New Economy" Where the .00001% fight over 99% and the rest get equal splits;
how will they justify the status quo?

"Didn't want to reach out to the conservative base." What the hell does that
exactly mean? The conservative base connected and embraced themselves with
tea baggers, racists, xenophobics, etc. This was Dick Army's and Karl Rove"s
blueprint for success.....There is absolutely no such thing as moderate republican
any more. They are gone. They are now either independents, libertarians or Democrats.
The repubs. got themselves in this mess and they are now going to scapegoat Romney.
Romney is so stupid that he allowed himself to be hi jacked by Rove, Army, Koch
Brothers and a host more, but the fact of the matter is that the Republican Party
leaders created this mess and their mindless handsome candidate was at the
wrong time at the wrong place. They definitely deserve each other!

"'Didn't want to reach out to the conservative base.' What the hell does that exactly mean?"

...it means, that Newsmax is throwing Mitt under a bus (at least for now) in typical RW fashion, which is to claim Mitt didn't full embrace conservatism.

Conservatives really don't want to hear more specifics from Mitt Romney

Still, they didn't just realize this. They were perfectly willing to go along before coming to grips with the notion that Mitt is losing ground and alienating voters.

I'm sure if given his choice Mr. Ruddy would want anyone but Bishop Willard as the candidate...and that was the problem. The skittish wingnut world couldn't fall in love with any of their unhindged candidates...Mittens survived the demolition derby but never won the hearts of the parallel universe. It's been a shotgun marriage that's been rocky from the outset and Willard continues to try to convince his "base" he's the "severely conservative" dude he's etch-a-sketched himself to be.

The Bishop has run a totally inept campaign and it's starting to dawn upon the rest of his corrupt party that this could affect their chances at holding the House and winning the Senate. They can't jetison this loser...but they don't quite know what do to with him. Ignore him? Go down in flames with him? Run away? Just scan freeperville and see how confused and frustrated the unhinged have become.

It's amusing to see the vultures start to circle early...
