Scott Van Duzer (Obama bear hugger) sez please donate to his foundation, instead of ordering pizzaLast edited Mon Sep 10, 2012, 09:18 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2)
to help his business.
From DailyKOS - heard that Scott Van Duzer appreciates the business orders to help his pizza company, but he prefers that the money that are meant to help the homeless goes to his foundation instead: The Van Duzer Foundation: http://www.thevanduzerfoundation.org The premise is to help the devastated families that lives in Port St. Lucie County. The pizza place admits that there are not many local homeless shelters willing to take in the pizzas ordered for everyone, and strongly suggests the foundation, so that's where I contributed $25. I'm sure many supporters are willing to pitch in and double what they raised all of last year.

1. What a great guy!

I wish I had the money, dang-it.
Start of school and the need for haircuts and clothes leaves my family a bit broke in September. |

I've been putting mine off.
Son still needs one, though. Not sure if our local JC Penney has a salon. Honestly, I've never noticed one in there. |

How much impact is this boycott having? Does anyone know? |

Last edited Mon Sep 10, 2012, 09:18 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) Some Freepers in Texas are going to boycott a pizza place in Florida?
The local people that might boycott are probably outnumbered by the new customers he will get with this publicity. There are people who will go out of their way to visit this place now. It looks like he is doing a lot of great work for the community. Shame on those Republican assholes that wish to hurt him. |

33. There was a time when Republicans had a respectable ethic
|
We believed many of the same things. They were just a bit more inclined towards the individual reliance thing. They weren't all greedy and amoral the way they are today.
I wish there were more intellectually honest conservatives. And if he wants to remain a Republican, it is my honor to donate to his foundation. I just think he will be rather lonely. I'm not sure that would bother a man who has his own solid moral compass. |
