The Walmart movie is on Current TV right now.... sigh... why do we allow this store to do this?

So disturbing how Walmart treats their employees and communities.

1. That documentary was a real eye opener for me

Haven't shopped at Walmart since.

2. Is it "The High Cost of Low Prices"?

That was an awfully depressing movie, but one I definitely needed to see

3. Been Watching It

I got my wife to watch it as well. I was amazed at how damaging a Walmart is. It goes so far beyond causing mom and pop shops to close down. This is a must see.

4. My friend is as liberal as I am and he still shops at Walmart.

He doesn't see the hypocrisy of shopping at Walmart and hurting the community by taking away needed decent-paying jobs. All he sees is that he can buy a large-screen TV at Walmart and he can't afford it somewhere else.
