It is a take off on an old phrase (from the 60s or 70s) about the sexual prowess of african american males. Its use on that button was ironic, as it plays with a racist sexual stereotype that resonates with the ongoing racist undertone of the Romney campaign and the sustained racist assault against Obama by the republican party since the start of the 2008 election.

I don't think the button is so bad. Imagine if it said "Vote for all our great women candidates". People say that all the time. Similar kind of sentiment no?

11. There was this movie, Bringing Down the House, with Steve martin and Queen Latifah

where Martin's wife thought he was having an affair with Queen Latifah and she exclaimed "Once you go black, you never go back." It is a reference to a white racist notion that black women are so incredible in bed that they spoil a person for life. This is comparable to the joke in Blazing Saddles that said, "Is it true what they say about how your people are gifted." This is followed by an unzipping sound, with the added dialog. "Oh it's twou, it's twou!"

These are racial stereotypes that that make black people animalistic in their sexuality, an both Martin and Mel Brooks used them for shock value and to laugh at racist concepts.

I think it is a button to throw that idea into the faces of Racist Republicans.

12. It's a twist on a sexual reference ..

That states when a person who is not an African American has sex with an African American, that the person who is not the African American will be so sexually fulfilled, they will never have sex with anyone but African-Americans ever again.
