George W. WHO?
The gop IMPEACHED President Bill Clinton over trumped up charges and did their best to utterly destroy him for something THEY ALL DO. I am still enraged at what they did to Bill Clinton for no other reason than he was the most beloved and popular Democratic President since John Kennedy.
Well fuck you gop, we are still proud of our man, while you all pretend like the 8 horrific years of bush jr. never even happened.
President Obama has had an extrememly difficult job of cleaning up the nasty mess left by the war pig facists who drove this nation into debt and disarray, and he needs four more years to finish the clean up.
We have no problem whatsoever inviting our former president to speak at our convention, we do it proudly.
dubya, the worst, and the most embarrassing president in history hangs around the gop's neck like a month old flounder. Well suck on it republicans, you forced dubya on America with no regard to his stupidity. The whole nation went to hell for 8 years under bush jr., while the 8 Clinton years are fondly recalled as optimistic years.
We are PROUD of our former president, while you have to hide bush away in the forgotten hall of shame. Republicans cannot re-write recent history so all they can do is play hush up about the bush years, and invent wild rumors about Obama.
We are the Democratic party, and we are damned proud of our former presidents, and we are STILL PROUD of Bill Clinton, the one you just had to impeach like it was the most important fucking thing in the world, so suck on it gop.

(6,996 posts)The Rs went through with the trial in the Senate even though they knew they would lose. Their thinking was that *Impeachment* (in capital letters) would always be a shameful part of Clinton's legacy.
Well, when was the last time you heard any Repuke even mention it or try to use it against him? Epic fail.

(11,854 posts)"Funny. I don't remember the blue dress thing having any effect on him running his Presidency and leaving the US with a surplus... unless it was the amount of time that the repubs fixated over him. I also think it's kinda funny how the Repubs didn't have presentations by Bush or Cheney. After all, if their policies were so successful over their 8 years of reign that they want to take us back to them, wouldn't you think they'd be proud enough to tout that? Just sayin..."
His comeback was something about the morals of the President, respect for women, ....
I just said "Right back at you regarding Romney and Ryan"
Idiot!

(15,953 posts)While the GOP wants to undo everything Obama and take us back to the Bush years, they are ashamed to invite him to their convention or even to appear with him.
