Message to Moderates: When it comes to new taxes/spending cuts, Repugs won't even meet us 50/50.

Obviously *we* don't want to see 50/50 cuts and tax hikes, but I'm thinking that moderate and/or undecided voters will have to see the unreasonableness of the Repug position if we were to frame the argument that way.

They rejected an offer of $1 in tax increases for every $9 in spending cuts. It's either their way or the highway.
