Man in 'Joker' makeup arrested at Brevard County movie theater

Not the smartest thing to wear when there's a warrant out for your arrest:

A 21-year-old man was arrested today in Melbourne after a concerned movie-goer spotted him outside a theater on the 1800 block of Hibiscus Boulevard with makeup similar to that of the well-known villain The Joker.

The man, identified as Christopher Sides, was pacing outside the movie theater smoking a cigarette with black, white and red makeup and red-dyed hair said Melbourne Police Department Spokesman Sheridan Shelley.

Although Sides' appearance may have startled movie-goers still remembering the mass shooting in the Colorado movie theater where a man in similar makeup was accused of shooting 12 people to death, because Sides did not attempt to cause a disturbance, his makeup had nothing to do with his arrest.

He was brought in on an outstanding warrant related to a missed court date for a misdemeanor offense.

Both this guy and the Aurora shooter dressed as The Joker, but used red hair dye instead of green.

Does this look like red hair?

I'm betting it's easier to find red hair dye, than it is green hair dye.

Oh, wasn't Caesar Romero's hair red?
