Ok... Maybe I'm Late To The Party... But This Just Hit Me Like A Thunderdolt (Me Being The Dolt)

Watching Chris Matthews' piece on Obama...

It occurs to me that the PTB and RW may not have had any problem with Barack Obama had he gone to Harvard, became head of the Harvard Law Review, and gone on to a cushy job making 6 or 7 figures at a prestigious law firm...

But for him to go to that college, learn right along with the other elites, rise to the head of his class... and then...

Go back to Chicago with that knowledge, and to put it into service of the poor and downtrodden...

Well THAT is the threat they seek to remedy.

Thoughts ???

Do you think they wanted him to be a community organizer?

Man has organized the entire planet.

That the heads of, the alumni of, and many of the students of... Harvard, Yale, Colombia, Stanford, et. al. think that their peers that graduate with honors and choose to go into ANY public service are abberations... cute... oddballs...

The fact that he tossed away hundreds of thousands of dollars (or more) to do what he felt was right and important...

Makes him a threat. And therefore has to be discredited.

Can't have this becoming a trend, now can we ???

His apostasy is even worse than that, in their eyes, I am sure. Right after he graduated from Columbia University, he worked for almost two years in a consulting house to multinational corporations, as a research assistant. At first he was a numbers cruncher, then he interviewed people and wrote articles about the New York Wall Street financial scene. He was actually AMONG them, but then he had the gall to LEAVE their little paradise! And he went to foment COLLUSION among the worthless eaters of the world! You can just see how infuriating it must be to true believers in Mammon!

They have no humanitarian vision in their policies, it's glaringly obvious. It's not all about race, that's the circus for the cheap seats, the non-thinking, meat puppets who vote as they're frightened or outraged into doing.

Those who will never make a wise choice in that state of mind, they are Dittoheads. Their hands pull the levers for the PTB. Probably that quote from Obama's book struck fear in their hearts:

Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. It asks too little of yourself. Because it's only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realize your true potential. ~ Barack Obama

The GOP has been about big money all my life. Romney is the epitome, the crown of what they believe life is all about, destroying the lives of others to make himself rich beyond any reason. Ryan is the destroyer along with him, to steal everything from other people, as 'parasites.'

Remember, as far as the RW is concerned, no successful black person ever made it because of their skills, talents, and hard work. If Mr Obama had had a cushy job making 6 or 7 figures at a prestigious law firm, they'd say it was only because he was hired for his color and some more deserving white person got screwed out of that position.

To them, nothing he did or didn't do is as important as his skin color. Everything else they say they don't like about him is just them trying to pretend that isn't so.

That their White Privilege wasn't enough to keep them ahead of raw talent, is UNACCEPTABLE to them.
