The Romney "welfare" ads are aimed at WHITE WOMEN

The Romney campaign found, through polling, that the ads were most effective with white women. The explanation for that (given on MSNBC last night by Jimmy Smith but I forget which program) is that the white women are the most concerned about families on the edge and the availability of benefits.

It doesn't matter to Romney if the ad is correct or lies. It is working with a critical target demographic. That's all that matters to them.

1. Can't be.

Stats say there are many WW on AFDC, SNAPS and WIC.

I don't get it.

2. yes but Romey is telling them that Obama will gut programs

There is no logic to this; apparently the women polled don't know Republican plans to gut services. Jimmy Smith said the Romney campaign was very surprised to see the polling that the ads were working so well with that demographic.
