More scheduling fallout for the RNC
We've heard the news that the opening 'You're Fired' skit with Birther Trump has been scrapped from the republican convention schedule . . . and, the further report that Lynyrd Skynyrd would not be performing as scheduled.
Now comes word of a list of other events that were scrapped at the last minute by skittish RNC organizers worried about the prospect of a hatepalooza erupting on the convention floor.
Among the planned and scheduled events scrapped:
-- Ted Nugent's speech on gun rights.
-- Hank Jr. singing the national anthem.
-- Newt Gingrich's address on Workfare.
-- Slideshow of memorable moments of Mitt's visit to the London Olympics.
-- Brad Pitt's Mom and Angelina Jolie's dad teaming up to highlight the history of marriage and the Romney family.
