I feel dirty. National Review on rape pregnancy

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/314718/akin-and-his-critics-mona-charen

I was following a link on another issue (Obama isn't an Alpha male, Romney is) and ended up on the National Review website. While I was there, I had a quick look around and stumbled on the above link.

The author launches into an apologia for Akin.

Really? Is it such an outlandish idea? I looked it up, and it appears that there is no evidence that pregnancies are less likely in cases of rape, but it didn’t seem out of the realm of possibility to me.

I can't unsee that, can I? :shudder:

Because it is out there.

Aren't they embarrassed?
Thanks for looking at it, because I don't really want to. Too depressing.
