Is Romney Legally Untouchable?

Many folks saying that he's done illegal things with his taxes.

What do you think the odds are that they'll ever be an investigation? Will he get a professional courtesy pass like Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the torture-boys got?

1. Sigh. Things move at a glacial pace. This could turn out to be a Nixon situation,

if he does get elected.

Drip, drip, drip.

But only if Democrats maintain control of at least one House.

3. Nixon used the IRS to go after his enemies, and it was a big stink. I'm no expert on tax enforcement

but I'd guess there are firewalls galore to prevent IRS employees from taking a hard look after a person just because the person is in the news
