Based on what I know about genetics, there is no way I could carry a rapist's child and let it come into the world.

raising their babies that happened as a result of a rape. they all said it wasn't an easy decision at first but they just couldn't bring themselves to have an abortion. I can tell you the children are awesome and happy and the mothers love them very much. Again it was their CHOICE. and that's the point. We as women should be free from the Government laws to choose which path we would take.

The wingnuts I follow online are salivating over the 'fact' that sometimes women DO consent, as in statutory rape.

Cause, you know, a 12 year old really wants it from an older man. So it's not a legitimate rape if it's statutory rape.

6. My sister was 11 when she was raped and impregnated

This was before abortion was legal. She had a son she was forced to give up for adoption. So not only was she raped, then she was given no choice to terminate the pregnancy, she then had to give the baby up against her will. And the man who raped her NOTHING HAPPENED TO HIM!!!!

I've had students whose moms were incest victims. More often than not, they are also raped by family members. It's a sad cycle of violence.
