He said so himself in a clip I saw yesterday, apparently trying to reassure people that he's too old to go out chasing skirts these days.
He's been around so long, I generally don't pay him much attention. But yesterday, I looked.

(31,706 posts)Sounds like Calista doesn't let her sugar daddy/meal ticket get too far away. She's the one running this show and has Gnewt hooked big time. If he dares to chase a skirt, she'll be at a divorce attorney and have her laundry list of demands at the ready. He knows crossing her would be the costliest mistake of his greedy life...

(3,261 posts)Far better than Reagan at 68. I'm generally against people beyond a certain age running for certain offices but there are instances where age is not a huge factor. Age is probably not an issue for Newt. His policy positions, of course, are the real issue.

(3,261 posts)And I may be remembering the years a little further into his Presidency but Reagan always seemed old and a bit doddering to me. It's not so much the physique or attractiveness. Newt just seems younger and more alert than Reagan ever seemed to me.
