He said so himself in a clip I saw yesterday, apparently trying to reassure people that he's too old to go out chasing skirts these days.

He's been around so long, I generally don't pay him much attention. But yesterday, I looked.

Far better than Reagan at 68. I'm generally against people beyond a certain age running for certain offices but there are instances where age is not a huge factor. Age is probably not an issue for Newt. His policy positions, of course, are the real issue.

And I may be remembering the years a little further into his Presidency but Reagan always seemed old and a bit doddering to me. It's not so much the physique or attractiveness. Newt just seems younger and more alert than Reagan ever seemed to me.
