he had before--plus a lot more--will be back on September 26th if Republican deep pockets can't bribe Akin to quit before then.

And his candidacy helps to keep Paul Ryan's association with the religious right wing nutcase faction front and center.

Which is easy enough to do.

The DNC should be blaring out that Akin is cancerous and have the exact same ideology as Paul Ryan, Rmoney's VP.

The curtain has been pulled back and a lot of republicans are going to suffer if they don't throw him under the bus.

what is the deadline for the GOP uniting behind someone else w/o Akin's cooperation, including by write in?

I am confident the natl GOP will outflank Akin one way or another; worst case (for them) scenario is that they divide the vote with a write-in and fail to take the seat, but protect the national brand name of the Republicans, which Akin has at least conceivably threatened

and with a court order - Rachel was talking about this last night. Tonight was the 11 week deadline to not have to pay fees, but the fees aren't Akin's problem. The RNC or NRSC will pick those up.

maybe a landslide. i am expecting a thread from the "Repukes are imploding by being too radical" DU pollyannas, apologizing to those of us who know better. David Vitter, Rick Scott, Darrell Issa, and a host of other felons have been elected to major offices...over-the-top misogyny will barely dent this guy's vote total.

If this guy called himself a Dem, he would have been hounded out of the race in 24 hrs.

No media realignment - no hope for Dems
