Are Wedge Issues That Were The Forte Of The Repugs To Split The Electorate And ......

get people to vote Repug - coming back to haunt the Repugs?

Seems like some of the issues that the Repugs used in the past to splinter the votes are reversing and now might have a negative effect on the Repugs.

- abortion
- gays
- taxes
- defense

It looks to me that the Dems are using some of these issues to pull away some Repug votes. Or is the electorate just getting a little smarter and the old tactics of the Repugs don't work as good as they did in the past?
