DELICIOUS!!! - Obama "Really Doesn't Like, admire or even grudgingly respect Romney"Last edited Mon Aug 20, 2012, 11:28 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1)
Get a load of this juicy and frankly refreshing morsel from Politico's just-published e-book "Obama's Last Stand" by POLITICO reporter Glenn Thrush. From the article "POLITICO e-book: Obama campaign roiled by conflict":
Obama really doesn’t like, admire or even grudgingly respect Romney. It’s a level of contempt, say aides, he doesn’t even feel for the conservative, combative House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the Hill Republican he disliked the most. “There was a baseline of respect for John McCain. The president always thought he was an honorable man and a war hero,” a longtime Obama adviser said. “That doesn’t hold true for Romney. He was no goddamned war hero.”
Delicious! Anyone that doesn't think Obama's got ideological teeth or political grit is sure in for a surprise. Here's another nugget: "This has produced a campaign being animated by one thing above all. It is Obama’s own burning competitiveness, with his remorseless focus on beating Mitt Romney — an opponent he genuinely views with contempt and fears will be unfit to run the country." 6. Based on what I have seen of Romney thus far, I too think he would be
|
incompetent to run the country. He does not understand people. He is not a good manager. May sound funny since he claims to have run such a big business.
But from watching him, I see no leadership ability. His campaign is a mess in spite of all the money at its disposal. He is insecure, unsure of his direction. I suspect he was just a front, that he has always made his way thanks to his name and what the people who invest in "his" company expect to be his political contacts, his pull. Also, if you understand leveraged buyouts, they are kind of like what happens when an adult chess expert plays chess with a small child. There is a formula, and the company that does the leveraging follows that formula. The keys are researching companies and finding investors. As I understand it, Romney mostly dealt with the investors. Seems to me researching companies would be the hard part. |

10. Expect Rs to start on the "he'll hire good advisors" theme they had with Reagan
|
This time, we know from Norquist's quote that their candidates for POTUS really are just meant to be figureheads.

2. Politico is in the e-book, smear piece, business?
|
" Obama campaign roiled by conflict": " This should put to rest ANY idea people have that Politico is an actual journalistic source. They're as bad as Jerome Corsi, and the others who sell hit pieces.
While I do get the sense that the President doesn't like Romney, that "Obama campaign roiled by conflict": is BS. There is no way a campaign that is so on target, so finely run, is in conflict. |

5. All people who get to know Mitt really really dislike him
|
Gingich, Santorum, Perry, all dislike him. Even his Mormon secret tax source to Reid must dislike him in order to rat him out.,

9. Why should he be any different than anyone else Romney has run against?

Every D or R that has run against the guy hates him.
