My take on tonight's Iowa Turdfest

Because of his whopping eight vote win, I see a broken primary season and a broken convention, with no one having enough delegates to put them over the top. There will a front runner de-jure and the media will declare "Front Runner of the Moment."

The Republican circular firing squad and bloodbath will continue.

The only winner tonight was Obama, since no true leader means more Republican posturing to the right, alienating the center.

At the convention, if:

Paul wins = Establishment stays home.
Santorum wins = Moderate GOP stay home.
Romney wins = Bible Belt and Inter-montane libertarian GOP stay home.
Gingrich wins = Everyone stays home.

I predict a compromise candidate between them all.

Perry will back Romney. Huntsman will back Romney, Bachmann will back Santorum. Gingrich, if he drops, will back no one.

I smell a tea-bagging third party candidate if Paul drops out.

GOP is in trouble right now.
