Doesn't Feel Like Ryan Is Already Falling Apart?

Ryan reminds me of Rick Perry. He swept in, made the republicans excited, had a fancy talking point (fastest job growth in the nation!), but after a few days, he started sounding like a complete dumb ass and then melted under the spotlights.

Look at the last few days

68. calling them like we see them.

It is very refreshing to read such a straight forward analysis. I am truly ill of those who claim republican politicians just do not understand the people and that is why they all act like idiots. It is only with open , honest communication like yours that progressives advance justice and fairness. Every time I hear one of our so called brethren unwilling to call them on their real motivation , saying or doing whatever is necessary to support the power of some of the wealthiest, I cringe. If we do not cal out our enemies, they become more and more emboldened to hide between political spin and false claims of divine right over us.
We are part of the 99 percent and must never forget this or we risk this election. We must take every opportunity to remind everyone republican politicians are not on the side of the people and whose side the republican politicians are really on. Peope seem to be angry about the policies being pursued by lying republican politicians, we need to tie things together by tying these policies to direct and unashamed support for an ultra wealthy ruling group.

Thanks for compiling those links. I bookmarked it so you should keep adding to the list.

I can't wait until the debate with Biden. Ryan still hasn't faced a spotlight that bright on the national stage. Even people who don't pay attention to politics get a general feel for a candidate from the debates.

The republicans have spent weeks talking about how biden is a complete dumb ass and Ryan is most brilliant man in the country. Biden is quick and sharp and has been playing this game for nearly 40 years. Ryan has never been in a national debate before. Big mistake on the republican's part.

vast Network of friends worldwide outweighs his gaffs. The chains gaff was manufactured outrage by those looking for anything to use against him and Obama.

When he actually makes a gaff, the public just laughs and shrugs. They know what to expect and like him gaffs and all.

the thugs were expecting all black people to clutch their pearls and turn their backs on Obama... but what they failed to realize is that those folks in that room knew exactly what Biden was talking about---and so did most black people who saw the video clip afterwards--and they did not equate anything nearly as hysterically wrong with it as those who tried to whip this up into something it never was. That goes to show how stupid everyone who thought this would offend black people thinks black people are.

What Biden said was no where near being a gaffe and all the whining, crying and moaning in the world will never make it so.

I mean of all things, why strangle. Fish don't even have necks. What happened on the day he strangled his first boyhood fish?
lol
strangled? What a dip he is.

wait, I think I have it; he strangles fish BECAUSE they have no necks. It has something to do with him having no lips. I can't quite piece it together.

maybe its;
The fish have no necks yet can be strangled. He has no lips, yet can suck.

62. One who isn't overly fond of his right hand or breathing, for that matter

What Ryan actually does is called catfish noodling. Whatcha do to noodle a catfish is to go out in a murky river, find a cave you think a good-sized catfish might be nesting in, and stick your hand into the cave.

If all goes well, the catfish bites your hand. You grab the fish by the jawbone and drag it out of its cave. Your buddies then help you get it onto the bank.

There are a few problems with doing this.

Problem 1: this tends to piss off the fish.
Problem 2: channel catfish can grow to approximately the size of Paul Ryan, and they're stronger.
Problem 3: the bottom of the river is fairly slick, which leads to...
Problem 4: large, pissed off channel catfish can drag you below the surface and make you drownded. Or they can stick one of their venomous spines in your leg and do you in that way.
And then there's...
Problem 5: Rivers with catfish large enough to noodle ALSO contain snapping turtles, who tend to live in the same kinds of places large cats do.

And then there's the issue of why a man who doesn't eat the flesh of animals is out there draggin' catfish out of the water with his bare hands...

A straight tax so that a wealthy person could buy more expensive arrows and pay the same amount as a poor hunter buying cheaper arrows.

I think he was picked for his first name, to hype libertarians reminded
of Ron Paul.

I continue to think that Mitch Daniels, no mean budget cruncher in his
own right, would have been far and above the better candidate for
Prince Mitt to select due to his experience.

But he would have dwarfed Mitt in the gravitas department.

Corporate CEO's will by definition surround themselves with "YES" men.

Liberals may get quite some benefits in this election with a Republican
moderate and a radical on the ticket. Leaves the GOP with almost
no clear options for 2016.

A rigid idealist without real life application, only theory, trickle down has never worked.

He wants a Plutocracy, is what it comes down to, a rich ruling class and a bunch of peons to provide all the services and fodder for war. That's unfettered Capitalism. Wipe out the middle class and keep us in prison and servitude. Keep us all indebted to education costs if we dare climb out or up.

He definitely wants to change the face of America. To a one Party system rigged to elect the rich to represent the rich and make different rules for the rich. The rest of us are second class. That's why we need to unite against what the Republic Party stands for! They want to decimate us.

End rant:

45. Ryan's "secret" weapon

The Mainstream Korporate Media will be Ryan's helium.

Otherwise, he'd sink like a stone.

46. Ok ..so Ryan is falling apart and Romney may be falling fast because of

lying about his tax returns..So could the Repukes be headed toward an open convention? And when will the billionaire PACs stop their ads backing these guys?

the smarter choice, and if I can be so bold, the one with less hair on her chest.

61. The best part is the splash damage.

Every time a house Dem runs an ad linking their opponent to Ryan, Obama gets a free attack ad. Every time Obama runs an ad attacking Ryan, afformentioned house Dem gets a free attack ad.

Of course, when Obama was inaugurated, Ryan was in his 30s. Politically, he is a child.

66. The public is desperate for solutions.

The use of "Lie" is the inflection of how frustrated the public is with half truths and a lack of a plan. My wife is foreign born and listens to these politicians on the television and is constantly confused by what she sees and hears. After many nights over the years of explaining that the lies, insincerity and mean spirited campaigns are a major part of the American electoral process, she still doesn't understand why the people bother voting. I simply said that it isn't about which candidate has the best message or the most money to spend, it comes down to "Which candidate lies the best and in the end is more believable".

67. Does it really matter?

The idiotic brain-dead Republican base will vote for anyone as long as they blame everything on Obama and the so-called independent voters will go whichever way the wind blows. The Cock brothers are buying this election at the expense of everyone else and the electorate is too lazy to actually educate themselves.

In the age of Facebook, text messaging and Twitter, anything that is said is instantly repeated ad infinitum and within 24 hours becomes the "truth." The media has failed in their role because the vast majority of people in this country have the attention span of a 7 year old and "journalists" are too interested in being personalities and too afraid to actually ask any substantive questions, least they loose their fat paychecks. The complete dumbing-down of America has arrived. Get used to it.

74. Raul Pyan may be an inept VP choice, but remember--

the G0Pee has the fix in for this election. They have been hard at work instituting unnecessary voter ID laws nationwide, and the voting machines are notorious for being easily hacked. They don't need to worry about upcoming debates or appealing to Independents and moderates. They have their dream veep in Raul Pyan, and are in it to win back the WH that they feel so entitled to.

80. Yup. We can't kid ourselves.

They have the money to push their lies, and they are not getting called on the lies by the media, except for isolated instances like that Soledad O'Brien interview with Sununu. We have a lot of work to do between now and November.

81. So Fox News and CNN?

I know MSNBC isn't positive on Ryan, so that would leave Fox News, which would love Ryan even if there was video of him hacking apart school children with a machete, and CNN, which is down to about 6 viewers. Of course half of those are from people that leave the TV on all day so their cats feel like someone is home with them.

are all republicans or drooling slobs who are brainwashed.
