Democrats didn't bring up the religion litmus test...in fact most of us find it distasteful. Separation of Church and state is now a Liberal pipedream...just ask the Pat Robertsons, and Jerry Falwell, and Jimmy Swaggarts, et al.
But let's be clear, we have a Lifelong Christian Liberal and a Lifelong Roman Catholic ticket running against a Lifelong Mormon and an atheist...recent conversion to Catholicism? notwithstanding...last seen on video (per Rachel's show) in 2009 as an outspoken Randian follower...Republican ticket. I doubt many Catholics want to claim him or Ayn Rand.
Again, we didn't start this fight, and it's still detestable, but it's time to get in it!!!
Demand that the Right Wing Fundamentalists explain their anti-Christian votes and financial support and question whether Atlas Shrugged/The Fountainhead should be on their kids required reading.
BTW, I don't listen to the speeches much, but does anyone recall either the Vulture or the Voucher ending a speech with God bless you all and God bless America?
