Who do you think will fare better in the election due to the "throw them all out" sentiment . . . .

. . . . . . toward Congress?

It seems to me this can be a winner ofr the Democrats as it is the repubican leadership, cowed by the teabaggers, who have been quite candid about their intent to be obstructionist to anything the Democrats want to do while offering exactly nothing of their own as an alternative.

do well.

Unfortunately, the RW has better talking points and their messaging is better, so it may be their soundbites that are in the American psyche. Plus, the level of anti-Dem fervor is pretty high...

we have to expose the record however... make the republicans own the jobs record instead of Obama.. it seems to me the Obama campaign at least at the top is as sharp as it was 08..a well orchestrated campaign can take back the House and hold the Senate..

while doing the extremely important business of renaming post offices is sticking in a lot of craws out there.

This is the Democrats' election to lose. They're going to have to work really hard at it to throw this one away.

remembers what has been happening. For instance women should surely understand that "the bums" are the gop. In states where these voter ID laws are being pushed it should remind minority groups how they got the vote and which "bums" are trying to take it away from them. Unions also understand that it is the gop obstructing job creation. Many of us are actually smart enough to know that we are going to lose too much if we do not vote against the people - gop - who created this problem in the first place with their trickle down economy.

Senate. Most people can see what is going on and to prove my point notice how the pukies have toned down their outright contempt for any and all things Obama these last few months. Oh they are still bucking anything he stands for but they're not in our faces about it like they were a few months ago. Very telling if you ask me

Unlike the House, where all are up for election, the Senate chances are determined by the vagaries of retirements and the third of Senators who stand for election every two years. These things are against the Dems this year, just on the numbers themselves.

From what I am reading -- I am no expert here -- the Dems may hold the majority but adding to their thin majority is very unlikely. However, we may even lose our majority. The deck is stacked against us this year.
