Authorities say a Vermont farmer angry over a recent arrest used a large tractor like a monster truck, destroying seven police cruisers parked outside a sheriff's office.

Police say 34-year-old Roger Pion (PEE'-on) was taken into custody shortly after the episode Thursday afternoon outside the Orleans County Sheriff's Department in Newport. No one was injured.

Police say Pion was angry about his arrest last month on charges of resisting arrest and marijuana possession.
