see this as an appeal to blue collar workers that think white collar jobs are not the same thing as tough man's work. There is also the subtle hint Obama got affirmative action helping him out the whole time thus didn't earn his work. This is just an attempt at divide and conquer class warfare which their party is known for.

I saw a report on Fox News (yes, yes, I know) about how teachers make more per hour than architects, accountants, etc.

What was never clarified for me was this: Are they counting only the hours they are teaching in the classroom or does that involve the pre (creating lessons plans) and post (grading assignments) work as well?

I imagine those same people believe teachers arrive in the classroom with everything (magically?) prepared for them, and that tests are put into a machine which grades them (and not just the scantrons!) and certainly they never stay after the bell rings to straighten up, help students, work on projects, etc.

In other words, he was a sort of Michael Scott, working at a Dunder-Mifflin kind of outfit. Except Michael Scott is just a clueless dork, not a crying drunk. Obama, in contrast, was a practicing attorney and a law professor at a highly-regarded law school. Those sound like real jobs to me.
