If Romney has not paid taxes for 10 years
Should the IRS / DOJ investigate and prosecute if anything turns up?

1. No investigation is needed.

It could very well be that he paid zero taxes all those years. The system is set up to make sure people like Mitt can avoid taxes - very likely that everything he did was 100% legal.
No, the real damage comes from just the fact being out there. |

2. I don't think anything is per-se illegal in there.

He's too smart for that, and has an army of tax attorneys backing his filings. Rmoney is the master of no loophole left behind.
If anything, it highlights how corrupt the US taxing code/system is. I agree with investigate and not prosecute. Investigate and shine a light on the loopholes that are out there and raise the volume on demands for a fairer and less complex system of tax avoidance. |

3. No. Simply point out that one of the highest earners in the nation LEGALLY paid no taxes....

... and that is what is WRONG with our tax laws.
Romeny's not the answer, he's the problem. |

5. Seize the stateside Romney assets and deport their asses to the Caymans or Switzerland.

The President might as well be the totalitarian they claim he is.
