Many thanks to DU for help with RW site plagiarizing me

I had been blogging cheerfully and nonpolitically about neuroscience at http://journeythroughthecortex.blogspot.com and quietly minding my own business on the web. Not making too much attempt to gain readership but just cheerfully adding my bit skis to the inner tubes. ! At this point, it's more important for me to write and post clips from like minded web sites than to engage in promotion.

However, I had found some silly right wingers who were using my material to help lure folks to their website where they were bashing the Affordable Care Act ACA, aka "Obamacare". I had asked them politely to take down my material as I did not agree with their politics and didn't want to help their site out in any way. They had ignored me and had blocked comments on the site so that readers would not know that material was plagiarized and also that folks with neurological conditions would greatly benefit from the ACA. I tried to tell them that not everyone has the financial resources to undertake many of the therapies that I was writing about -- therapies that they were cheerfully plagiarizing-- and that the ACA would benefit people who can't pay out of pocket. The whole pre-existing condition part of ACA is huge. I don't talk about the ACA on my blog because it's a nonpolitical blog.

So, I put my plea out to DU and sure enough I got good answers. I had to put a DMCA request out to cloud flare and they gave me the name of their provider, RAM-HOST. RAM-HOST does not have the greatest customer support. All you can do is email a DMCA request. So, I emailed them a few times and finally, I noticed that aafnh.org, the site stealing my material, had to pull down most of their website. They are now down to a couple of posts and all my material is off their site! So is other folks stuff that they had plagiarized.

There are a lot of dead links on Google that are pointing to plagiarized portions of my blog. If anyone knows how to clean those up quickly, let me know. Otherwise, I guess I have to wait for the Google reaping machine to clean up the cruft.
