What becomes of a bigoted parent
When their little darling children that they are pushing around in strollers at these Chick-fil-a restaurants come to them and tell them that they are gay and these parents are forced to look their kids in the eyes and tell them that, "sorry sweetheart mommy and daddy support the biblical definition of marriage and thus will not support your right to marry."
I wonder if if their viewpoint might change when it actually comes home roost. It's funny how these people never seem to care much about the struggle that other people are going through, until it affects them.

They kick them out and disown them.
They can't have anything interfere with their delusion because then the whole house of cards collapse. |

7. It depends
|
Some pretty famous homophobes have had gay kids. Randall Terry had one, Phyllis Shaffley, and Robert Knight. Terry and Knight disowned their kids while Schaffley has some relationship with hers.

8. Some do, some don't
|
Some evangelical parents have a major epiphany when their kids come out as gay and they do change their thinking on the issue.
But other evangelical parents simply disown their kids upon learning that they are gay. |

i don'tt hink he would boycott chick fila but i don't think he would go out of his way to show support for them. if he goes there it would be because he wants to eat.
i just don't htink he is a good example of these anti gay bigots. |

17. I had a conversation today with a woman I know who has five grandkids, some still quite young..
|
She brought up the Chick Fil A thing and then started telling me about "the homosexual agenda" and first I asked "what is the homosexual agenda?", when she didn't answer me on that one I then asked "what if one of your grandkids turns out to be gay?"..
Talk about deer in the headlights look, that really set her back a bit, I don't think she had ever considered that possibility.. No, I didn't get an answer to that either.. |
