"Runaway Slave" -a new documentary film from Conservatives attacks Government and w/be in theaters

in limited release for now but this is an interesting new tactic. The clip shows black conservatives calling out black dems for complicity with "Big Government" as the problem that keeps the black community down and subservient.

We watch movie preview shows at our house and just saw this one over the weekend. Republicans have always thought Democrats had too much favor and help from Hollywood (and people like Michael Moore and others). Guess they're getting into the documentary movie business now:

The problem is, to me, some of it uses truth (the prison system and others) and then distorts it so that it's all the fault of 'Big Government' and progressives. But then that's always one of their tactics isn't it?

Now that Republicans have effectively condemned the term Liberal, they're going after Progressive in a big way.

Some quotes in the preview:

"The size and scope and reach Government is the new plantation." - Herman Cain

"...back to founding fathers and away from progressivism."

"Run away from socialism... Run away from progressivism! RUN!"

2. It's unfortunate.

However, though, I don't expect the majority of African-Americans to buy into this load of crap......

5. I wish I knew how to send this to Al Sharpton (since they use his face in their preview clip).

I'd love to hear what he has to say about it.

4. The Dems should have jumped on this

And made it a comedy. Show the people how stupid the teabaggers are. Not everyone sees these assholes like we do. All the NO votes on progress in this country the Repukes voted down. The crazies like Virginia Fox, Michelle Bachmann, Allen West, the list goes on. Show the people who these assholes really are, and how they vote. The misspelled signs, the hats, the lunacy.
